History

The locomotive was manufactured by Robert Stephenson & Co. of Newcastle.

It was transported from the English city to the port of Rotterdam and from there to Cologne by the Rhine, then had to be transported with multiple difficulties by land to Nuremberg.

On arrival at their destination, the parts were assembled in the workshops of Johann Wilhelm Spaeth.

The cars were made of wood by local workshops.

On December 7, 1835 he made his maiden voyage from Furth to Nuremberg, across the 6.04 km line.
