History
The powerful D9R bulldozer, nicknamed Doobi, is one of the best bulldozers in the world. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has installed heavy armor on it and uses it to clear barriers and landmines, build temporary roads, and destroy enemy buildings. To make it suitable for operation in conflicts, the IDF has added slat armor on it for better protection against RPG attacks. A 7.62mm light machine gun is mounted on the top of the cab for self-defense. It has been proved to be an efficient and durable combat support platform.
